Donald Roine has been an avid beer researcher for many years. As Producer/Host of ‘Beer Styles’, a cable television show about beer, Don thoroughly enjoys talking about the subject of beer and he wants to share his enthusiasm about this truly historic and noble beverage. Don has sampled over 750 different beers from around the world and has given each a brief description and rating. This rating system is established solely as a foundation for readers of the book to develop and compare their own ratings. As a contributor to BeerAdvocate.com, the world’s most visited beer related website, Don has shared his expertise and opinions for readers to enjoy and contemplate. He has extensively researched the history of beer and its' relationship to the progression of modern man. Ever eager to spread the gospel of a better beer, Don has sponsored several beer tastings and beer dinners (pairing food and beer). He participated in Yale University's SOM graduate thesis on theoretical beer purchasing trends vs. income ratios. Don is also a member CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) of Great Britain.
